Hammered Metal Heart Charms

Each of these hearts literally took me 10 minutes to create. If you want to make some for yourself you will need a Steel Block, Metal Stamping Hammer, 16 Gauge Wire (I used Permanently Color Copper Silver Wire and Copper Wire) and Wire Cutters. To begin creating your heart charm using wire cutters, cut a piece of wire to about 6 inches in length. Form a heart shape then twist the ends of the wire together several times. Place the heart onto the steel block and hammer the wire until flat. You can create texture by using the ball end of your metal stamping hammer. CHA Day 2…

Over 100 make-n-takes and yards and yards of Pleat Satin Edging having been cut, day 2 of CHA has come to an end. Tomorrow I will be with Maya Road from 10:00 until 12:30. Then at 1:00 I will be doing a book signing and make-n-take for F+W Media (booth #2234) until 2:00. From 2:00 to 2:30 I will be doing another book signing for R+M West Coast Distributors (booth #608). Now remember, since I am on a tight schedule F+W Media will be handing out only 20 tickets to those in line just before my book signing and make-n-take. Holiday Ornament

Here is an ornament I created using lots of Maya Road product. First I painted a page from a Maya Road Sheer Snowflake Coaster Album using Spotlight Paint by Making Memories. I painted two Maya Road Royalty Chipboard Crowns using a Metallic Gold Paint Dabber by Ranger.
