Sneaks of 2 New Classes

Feb 20, 2013

Afternoon Tea

Afternoon Tea is filled with soft tones of pinks, greens, gold and beige which are the perfect color combination for any shabby chic class. In this class you will create an altered cuff and linen mini album that’s perfect to fill with words or quotes to inspire or special moments you wish to document.

You will use products by Maya Road, Ranger and The Crafter’s Workshop as well as vintage treasures I’ve included. You will decoupage, paint, ink and stamp and I’ll show you how easy it is using metal stamps to accent the butterfly embellishment for your altered cuff. These projects can be kept for you or are perfect to be given to a special friend as a gift for any occasion or special celebration.

Floral Chic

Floral Chic is a technique based card class where I will show you how to create 6 different flowers using beautiful trims by Maya Road. Once each flower is created it will then be used as an embellishment to accent 6 all occasion cards. By the end of class you will complete 6 cards using Tu-Tu Tulle, Antique Alterable Scallop Trim, Tulle Pleat, Vintage Lace, Organza Roses and Zipper Trims.

You will use products by Maya Road, Ranger and The Crafter’s Workshop. You will alter your cards using paints, inks and Stickles and create with papers I’ve scanned and printed from vintage magazines and French seed packets all from the early 1920’s. I also include yo yo flowers made by my mom, just for you. Once you leave this class you will be ready to apply all your new flower techniques to cards, tags, layouts, projects, shirts, headbands etc.

So do you want to know where I’ll be teaching these two classes? How does Rocky Mountain Memories on April 26th & 27th sound to you? I’m so looking forward to visiting Cheryl’s store as I have heard nothing but amazing things about it. It’s going to be a super fun creative whirlwind of a weekend. See ya there.
