I’m Home…

Aug 27, 2012

I had a wonderful 10 day creative break and now it’s back to deadlines, workshops and traveling. I love doing what I do but must admit this short break was nice and just what I needed. I pretty much work 7 days a week and sometimes feel like my head will explode. Driving with mom and dad to West Virginia was as fun as driving 21 hours can be, we had lots of laughs and enjoyed a little antique shopping along the way. I found some true vintage treasures for sure and cannot wait to share photos my finds.

One thing I was really happy about getting to do on our way home was stop and visit “The Scrapbook Page” in Barboursville, WV. Maxine Hodges has a wonderful store. If you are near or even an hour or two away it is well worth the drive. She has lots of current product and everyone there is super friendly. I had such a fun time helping everyone create an altered tag and sign my book “Delight In The Seasons”. It was a nice steady flow of funny ladies and I hope I get to visit again, next year.

Now that I’m home I will once again share tutorials on my blog and be creating like a mad woman to meet my first book deadline which is quickly approaching for book #3. I’m so excited about this book I can hardly contain myself.

To those of you who visit my blog for techniques and tutorials, thanks for being patient with me while I shared photos of my journey east with friends and family.
