Doily Flower Brooch

Sep 10, 2011

Here is a brooch I created using a vintage doily and some Maya Road Velvet Pleat Blossoms. It looks so cute on my sweater which I plan to wear during ScrapFest… come on cool weather. I’m so looking forward to teaching classes for Maya Road, helping them with make-n-takes and a book signing each day. It’s going to be so fun surrounded by crafty, creative people.

If you want to make this brooch all you need is one small vintage doily, 7 Maya Road Velvet Pleat Blossoms, Fabri-Tac and a pin back. Then just start attaching the Blossoms using the Fabri-Tac. Once the adhesive is dry attach a pin back to the back of the doily and that’s it… instant brooch.

Yesterday and today I have been out junking and antiquing and the finds I got are amazing. I cannot wait to start working on some Christmas classes to teach at The Crafty Scrapper. They are going to be adorable.
