Birthday Box

This is a small gift box for a special birthday someone. I think my favorite part is the vial with the candle inside and the make a wish journaling strip wrapped around it. My husband Alan was looking at me a tad bit strangely as I was burning down the candle so it would fit inside. He is not a visual person so he could not figure out what in the world I was doing. But once he saw the finished project it all made sense to him and he loved it. I really like the tissue tape bow too… it is covered in crystal coarse glitter and outlined with Platinum Stickles. Anything birthday themed has to have glitter. Ha who am I kidding, it’s more like anything I create has to have glitter. But really the top of this box is so pretty. It just sparkles and sprakles.

I was super happy when I discovered the Alpha Parts letters were the prefect size to go all around the lid. These can be painted too. I painted the letters I used on the “Live Life with Joy” tag.

The papers are from the Paper Stash ~ Lost & Found. This pad has so many wonderful designs to create with… pretty much a little bit of something for everyone. The wooden beads for the feet of the box are painted with Gold Adirondack Acrylic Paint and Distress Crackle Paint.
