Just a little FYI…

Sep 26, 2009

I will not be blogging for several weeks and thought I would give you the heads up as to why. To make a long story short… for the past few years I thought I was lactose intolerant. Anytime I drank milk my stomach would hurt so I just took myself off all dairy and didn’t have anymore issues. Well in April the Dr. and I thought I had acid reflux… took Nexium and all was better. Sunday I had some terrible stomach pains that lasted all night but went away. Tuesday evening BAM I was hit with some stomach and back pain that would not let up so I went to the ER and found out I had gallstones and a very unhappy gallbladder. Wednesday I was in a hospital room being pumped full...

Sep 15, 2009

First we had a great weekend. Centennial High School won their Homecoming game… which is always nice. And Ansley had a great time at the dance. I think she and her date Alex looked so adorable. Now to my scrappy world… my All Hallow’s Eve online workshop started yesterday. The first project is up now and the second one will be available tomorrow. A little reminder… today, the second project has been posted in my Homespun Inspiration online workshop. If you registered for this workshop don’t forget to check it out. And if you want to see more of Lottie, The Farmer’s Wife… go check out Jenni Bowlin’s Design Team Blog. I have a step by step tutorial on how to recreate Lottie. That’s about it on my end… today I’m gonna make something...

So much going on…

Sep 5, 2009

Lots of creating and preparing going on in my scraproom. I tell ya it looks like a bomb went off I have so many piles here and there but it is a good thing as it seems to be the only way and best way I know how to create. Here is a little run down of my creative week… I finished the second project for my “Homespun Inspiration” workshop. Those that have registered now have access to the supply list. Make Art…

Sep 2, 2009

So do you wish you could stamp like Wendy Vecchi as much as I do? Well it just got a lot easier for me. I had a great mail day yesterday because Wendy sent me a copy of her new book “Make Art, Studio 490 Style”. Let me tell ya… this book will never leave my workstation and I am not kidding! Behind this cover contains loads and loads of  incredible information. Reading Wendy’s book is kinda like being able to pick her brain. You know when you look at her incredible creations and think to yourself… who’s product is this, how did she do that… what did she use here.… well it is all inside. Wendy lists her favorite supplies (the basics and the extras) tips, stamp stuff, basic info and has approximately...

YAY… today is the first day of registration for my new “All Hallow’s Eve” online workshop. Once registered, you will have access to the private blog which presently lists all the supplies and tools needed to recreate each project. The cost for this online workshop is $19.95 and includes 12 project tutorials. All projects have a vintage theme and include items such as treat baskets, feather tree ornaments, mini wall hangings, tags and treat bag. For those that are participating in any Halloween tag swaps I placed a few tag tutorials in the first two weeks of the workshop. Each tutorial includes color photos and step by step instructions.
