Quick Card for Dad…
This card is simple to make (once again using my Cocoa Daisy June Kit Scraps, Cardstock, Rub On and Alpha Stickers)
- Cut a piece of cardstock to 5.5″ x 8″, fold it in half and ink the edges using ColorBox Fluid Chalk Ink (Creamy Brown)
- Cut a piece of patterned paper to 3.75″ x 5.25″, stitch a straight stitch around the inner edge of the patterned paper using a sewing machine, ink the edges using Creamy Brown Ink
- Cut another piece of patterned paper to 1.75″ x 5.25″, trim the edges using scallop scissors then poke a hole in the center of each scallop using a paper piercer, ink edges using Creamy Brown Ink
- Cut a piece of cardstock (same color as card) to 1 1/8″ x 5.25″, ink edges using Creamy Brown Ink, adhere to center of scalloped patterned paper, using a sewing machine sew a zig zag stitch where the two papers meet on each side, attach to the center of the 3.75″ x 5.25″ piece of patterned paper
- Apply rub on to light colored solid cardstock, cut out, ink edges using Creamy Brown Ink, attach two self adhesive pearls add “Dad” using Alpha Stickers
- Place foam squares on the back of the rub on embellishment adhere to the center of the cardstock strip
- Adhere 3.75″ x 5.25″ piece of patterned paper with rub on embellishment to front of cardstock card
