Cocoa Daisy Jan. Kit is up…
Tricia with Cocoa Daisy has the Jan. kit posted and dang is it fabulous! Ali Edwards hand-picked all her favorite products and she worked wonders I might add… her mini albums and layouts are incredible. I really had a lot of fun working with this kit. It was full of products I would normally not pick and loved the challenge. I’m not saying the products are not great by any means just that I seem to get into a style and not venture from it. So I loved the challenge. I even stamped directly on my layout. BIG MAJOR DEAL for me! I feel as though I must have perfection at all times so stamping really scares me. I must admit I loved it and am really going to try hard to incorporate more of this technique in my scrapping.
I used the “Petals” chipboard from Maya Road for leaves as well as their “Atlanta” Upper and Lowercase alphabets. Both are so fun to paint and glitter.
The other day, I received my products to create some projects for Maya Road to display at CHA. I’m so thrilled. I still cannot believe I will have projects on view at CHA. Last year, this was a total dream. I remember going to their booth and thinking I really wish I could be on their design team. I was so nervous I could not even introduce myself to Caroline or Deb. I saw them, looked them square in the face and just said hi. So to all of you who really want to be on a DT, I say “enter” and surround yourself with people that encourage you but that will also be honest. I happen to have two of those in this industry… Suzy and Lisa! Thanks you two for being such wonderful friends.
