I made all the ribbon flowers last night using some Maya Road ribbon. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with the other four flowers but I do know they will make it on some project for sure.

Friday night and Saturday, I got to hang out with some of my Maya Road friends... After our IKEA adventure we headed to Colleyville to do some make-n-takes at the Scrapbook Pad. After our lunch we headed to Richardson to pick up items from the Magic Scraps garage sale.

Ribbon Flower Tutorial

Starting at one end of your ribbon weave your threaded needle in and out of the ribbon as shown (I thread my needle with the thread still on the spool. Glue the cut ends of your ribbon together making sure the glued ends point to the underside of the ribbon flower 9.

Altered Letters

Making sure to trace your letters backwards, then cut out Apply Mod Podge to your letters, place your your cut out letter on top and smooth out all bubbles, set aside and allow to dry Cut ribbon make sure to allow enough ribbon for a double knot and attach the jump rings to the metal eyelet letters Once letter is dry using a Krylon leafing pen outline the edge of the paper on the letters as well as covering all the white or wood on the top, bottom and inside of letters.
