Gentlemen’s Ornament or Gift Tag

I love the detail you get from the Gen­tle­men’s Puff stamp in the Anti­quat­ed Col­lec­tion ~ Fine and Dandy Stamp Set. Each fine line in the Puff can be seen and it makes me so hap­py. This project can be used as an orna­ment for your tree to rep­re­sent the men in the fam­i­ly or attached to a gift and used as a gift tag. The back is cov­ered with the blank mar­gin from a piece of vin­tage book page. I used two Maya Road Rec­tan­gle Foun­da­tion chip­board pieces as the base for this project. One com­plete rec­tan­gle front was cov­ered with vin­tage sheet music. Then just the out­er piece of the sec­ond rec­tan­gle was stamped using the fir tree stamp from Lit­tle Red Wag­on by Pink Per­sim­mon. I used Jet Black Archival Ink...

Altered Paper Mache Box

I tell ya clean­ing out my scrap­room has allowed me to find some things I had for­got­ten all about hav­ing. This paper mache but­ter­fly box was stashed away deep down in a draw­er and these bun­ny picks where hang­ing in a bag that had been pushed way back in the clos­et. Putting the two togeth­er sure did make for a super cute altered box. I’m so glad I found them. This is what the Rab­bit looked like orig­i­nal­ly. I found these in the East­er sec­tion at JoAnns. To recre­ate this flower you will need a Maya Road Coast­er Chip­board Flower and a Blos­soms II Chip­board Flower. Now attach the Blos­soms II Chip­board Flower on top of the crum­pled flower and embell­ish the cen­ter of the Blos­soms II Chip­board Flower with a but­ton that has been thread­ed with fiber.

Altered Letters

Mak­ing sure to trace your let­ters back­wards, then cut out Apply Mod Podge to your let­ters, place your your cut out let­ter on top and smooth out all bub­bles, set aside and allow to dry Cut rib­bon make sure to allow enough rib­bon for a dou­ble knot and attach the jump rings to the met­al eye­let let­ters Once let­ter is dry using a Kry­lon leaf­ing pen out­line the edge of the paper on the let­ters as well as cov­er­ing all the white or wood on the top, bot­tom and inside of let­ters.
