Getting ready to ship…

March25

I’m done kitting all 5 classes. That was a job but everything is finally sorted, cut, packaged and boxed ready to ship to Lasting Memories. Their retreat is April 4th – 6th. I can’t wait to put faces and personalities to all the ladies I have chatted with online. Below are a few photos of some of the items that will be included in the kits. Yep… lots of Maya Road, new Scenic Route and Dream Street Papers as well as Daisy D’s. It’s gonna be a fun filled weekend.

Another Maya Road Star Ornament…

December14

I guess this is the year for me to decorate with stars. I can’t seem to get enough of them. Here is one I just completed. I used pattern papers by Daisy D’s, a page from a Maya Road Star Album, Maya Road Velvet Ric Rac, Star Dust Stickles by Ranger, Vintage Mica, Vintage Mercury Glass Bead from old garland, Holly Leaves, Jingle Bells, Jump Rings and a Maya Road Tin that once held some of their Ribbon Slides.

Happy Holidays

It is hard to see in this photo but I placed a little bit of Vintage Mica inside the tin. Oh and I accented the patterned paper inside the tin using Star Dust Stickles.

Have a wonderful evening.

Album Sneak Peek…

Do you all have certain product favorites? You know the products that when put together just makes you so happy? To me, these four manufacturers are just meant to go together. Every single product they make I want the second I see it.

Maya Road, Ranger, Art Institute Glitter and Daisy D’s… oh be still my fluttering heart!

This project is going to be one of my class projects this year.

Tomorrow, I will be posting a project I created using the December Kit by Cocoa Daisy… talk about a pretty kit. You really need to check it out.

Boo…

October13

This has got to be the fastest card I have ever created… took me less than 20 min. The patterned papers and R. I. P. accent are from Daisy D’s 8 x 8 Halloween paper pack. I created the ghost using a Sheer Paisley by Maya Road. This little ghost was fun to make… all I did was add some wiggly eyes and a “Noah” rubon letter “O” for the mouth. The velvet ric rac is Midnight Black by Maya Road. These trims are seriously addicting. The colors are beautiful. The alphabet stickers are by Scenic Route. They are their Black Berkely Stickers. And you all know I could not complete a project without using Stickles… I coverd the word “BOO” using Black Diamond.

Happy Halloween

Have a great weekend.

Wishing you a Spooktacular day…

October11

Here is a sign I created using lots of Maya Road goodies. I used their Philadelphia Uppercase Chipboard Alphabet, Midnight Black Velvet Ric Rac, a star from their Motifs Chipboard Set and a page from one of their Star Coaster Albums. This sign only took me two hours to make. I think it is going to look so cute greeting my trick-or-treats Halloween night.

The patterned paper is Spooky Dot by Daisy D’s. Of course I had to use some stickles by Ranger. I covered each orange dot and orange square around the border using their Orange Peel. The letters and smaller star are covered in fine Florentine Gold glitter by Martha Stewart. The larger star is covered in Black Glitter from a Making Memories Shimmer Glitter Kit.

Christmas Cards…

December10

Christmas Card

My Christmas cards are in the making. Why I decided to start them yesterday I have no idea but I did and here is what they will look like once I get all the branches made and everything glued down. Well actually, the reason for me making them this year could be that I searched for cards all over Frisco Friday night and could not find one box I liked. Anyway, I just LOVE Daisy D’s Christmas line (last years and this years). I’m such a vintage kinda person during the holidays and these papers are just fabulous. As you can see I could not create my cards without using some silver pipe cleaners. Making Memories Tag Maker has the perfect rims to create embellishments for my cards. I love having four different sizes of the same tag. Makes all my cards the same yet different.
Hope you are all having a wonderful weekend with friends and family.
