Guess where I will be teaching…

August11

Sept. 20th? The Crafty Scrapper in Waxahachie, Texas!!! I will be teaching a mini workshop. Three mini album classes and 2 layout classes. I am so excited to be going back. This store is incredible and it will be great seeing everyone again.

The Crafty Scrapper

I got to see Carolyn, Sherri and Heidi at GASC in Arlington in June. They had one hopping booth and were running around like crazy. That booth was filled with loads of Maya Road products and lots of other great scrapbooking supplies. If you have never been to The Crafty Scrapper you need to check it out. It is so worth the drive.

What a great day…

Yesterday my friend Lisa and I went to the GASC in Arlington. We had such a great time walking the floor and looking at all the cool stuff. The Crafty Scrapper had a wonderful booth with LOADS of product and LOTS of Maya Road. It was fun getting to see and chat with all of them again.

I got to quickly chat with a few of the Memory Makers Magazine staff… Beth Williams their executive editor, Christine Doyle their editorial director and GinaMarie Reda their assistant editor. It is so sad to think my term is almost up with Memory Makers. This has been one super fast and enjoyable year. But they will not be getting rid of me that easily. I’m still gonna chat with them and visit them as often as I can via email and when attending CHA-S and CHA-W. I feel for all of you that are working on your entries. I understand the butterflies in the stomach all too well. Good Luck!

After the show Lisa and I went to eat at “Abuelo‘s”. We had the best Tilapia Veracruz lunch. I cannot tell you how great it was… It was the kinda so great you cannot stop thinking about it so great!

Next we were off to dig around in some thrift and antique stores. I found some great treasures that I cannot wait to work into some of my book layouts and projects. My favorite is the vintage hat band. I just love the colors of the velvet, flowers and beads.

Junk Shop Finds

Glass Buttons

These glass buttons are so much prettier in person. I’m gonna hold onto these for a while as I have a very special project for these in mind.

I love Milk Bottle Caps

Lastly… I love these milk bottle caps. I’m not sure what I am going to do with these but I’m sure something fun will come to mind.

Today I will be heading to Caroline’s to sort out some new CHA-S release samples for the design team. I sure wish I could share but… nope, sorry… not quite yet. All I can say is you are gonna LOVE everything.

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend.
