Hurry up and check this out…

January11

Would you like to have your Maya Road project featured at the CHA-W show? If so, you want to read about this special open call Maya Road is having. I am so excited and know the 15 winners will be over the moon excited.

I still do not have any projects I can show you just yet and it is killing me! It will be well worth the wait because Caroline and Deb have really put together some incredible new products for CHA-W and if you keep checking their blogs you just might be the first to see some early sneak peeks. You are all going to be blown away.

If you are not signed up for their Consumer Newsletter I suggest you do so now. This way you can keep updated with all the new happenings going on at Maya Road.

12 boxes…

January8

Winter Bella Project 3of wonderful new Maya Road products are coming in tomorrow. I’m sure it will not take much guessing to figure out where I will be tomorrow! It is like Christmas when these boxes arrive. I love seeing all the new products Deb and Caroline create. I thought CHA-S was an incredible release but man I think they have topped that one because CHA-W is out of this world. I cannot wait for you to see all the new products.

Here is a portion of my newest Winter Bella E-Zine project. This is the first time I have ever just scrapped or created something for me. Usually I am working on a layout or project for a design team or a specific call. It is so nice to play late at night when all is quiet. I can’t wait to work on another project tonight. But today it is all pre-CHA-W. My check list keeps getting bigger rather than smaller.

Clear Ornaments…

December13

I got to go and spend some time with Caroline and Noah yesterday and man was Caroline full of inspiration. I saw lots of new CHA-W releases and all I can say is WOW, WOW, WOW or as Noah would say, “WOOOOWWWW”you all are going to be so wanting lots of Maya Road products! I feel like the luckiest person in the world getting to work with Caroline and Deb. While there sorting DT product Caroline was showing me all the cute projects she has been creating. That girl has been churning out some projects! Well her clear ornaments were the cutest and I had to come right home and make some for myself. The hardest part about this project is deciding which photo to use. They are so easy, so fun and would be adorable handed out at an ornament exchange, as a little housewarming gift or attached to a present for family and friends. BUT be careful… these are very fragile! I know first hand because I already broke one… dang it!

One NERVOUS Nellie….

May4

in the house. I get to talk to Martha Stewart Tuesday, May 8th live on her show! That is as long as my phone conversation doesn’t get bumped as told to me via the producer. I’m a nervous wreck. I have loved Martha since the 80′s and can’t believe I get to talk to her about the layout I entered in her contest. I saw her at CHA-W in Anaheim. She actually walked past me twice. I’m sure I looked extremely intelligent with my eyes popping out of my head and my mouth wide open! Anyway, Karen will be calling me either Saturday or Monday to go over what I’m supposed to do and how it all works. Thank goodness the call will be around 9 a.m. central time as my heart could not take waiting all day long, Tuesday. I’m hardly hanging in there now. I sent Karen a photo and a paragraph about me and my layout and now I just need to come up with a “Good Thing Tip” for scrapbooking to share on the show. I’m gonna have to write stuff down and have it handy. I have a feeling my mind is gonna go completely blank when I hear Martha’s voice. And so that I know where it is at all times I am going to attach it to my body right next to my cell phone. I have had my cell phone basically glued to me since I got my first call from Karen Sunday evening and MISSED IT! That was torture waiting for her to call back.

Well today besides thinking about Martha all day long I’m going to take my brother-in-law Dougie to the airport, work on some projects and try to not go to Celebrity Cafe and Bakery to eat their fabulous coconut ice box pie! Nothing settles the nerves better than a great coconut creme pie!

Have a great day.
