Here is a mini album I created using products from Danelle Johnson’s Vibe Collection and Creative Imaginations Bare Elements album. This will be featured on the Art Warehouse Product Spotlight web site. There you can print out the supply list and instructions to recreate this mini album. The photos are of my niece Madelyn catching her first fish. She was so excited. That is until her Dad Kelly asked her if she wanted to touch it (see last photo).
Here are a few projects I created using products from Art Warehouse, Creative Imaginations and Hampton Art. I used two of the Bare Elements (8 x 10 and 5 x 7) frames and stacked them one on top of the other. You can’t really see the dimension in the photo but it is there and it looks great. I am LOVING the Art Warehouse Pearl and Rhinestone brads. They are perfect for adding that little something to a project or layout.
I’m happy to say my “Whoo love’s Who” owl mini album is now sold out! Thanks to all that purchased the kit. I hope I get to see some of your finished albums.
my niece Madelyn LOVES this mechanical horse outside of La Hacienda here in Frisco. Oh by the way they have the best Mexican food. Madelyn’s laughs and giggles were so contagious that we were all laughing with her. So this was a perfect photo for the monthly “Giggle” theme on ScrapGal.
The photo of Terri and Ansley was taken Easter Sunday. Those two were so funny in between photos. They had me laughing so hard as it was just a tad bit cold and windy outside. But it was gorgeous and they tolerated another photo session.
I have started to work on some Maya Road projects for CHA-S and some Art Warehouse layouts using the new Fresh line. Talk about a great line. I love the colors. They are perfect for Easter, Spring, Summer, Girly Girl or Beach layout, mini albums or projects. This collection is so versatile and very inspiring.
I must admit right now everything in my little scrapping world is pretty darn great.
First I discovered a really neat thing while I was working on one of the Maya Road binders last night. I was using crackling medium and decided that I did not want to use two different paint colors on the spine as I did on the front and back cover. I wanted the spine to be a solid color but I already had dry crackling medium covering it… so I just painted over it again using the same paint color. OMGosh do l love this look. It looks as though you have years of paint on your project. I know this isn’t anything mind blowing but it really does look so cool and I’m going to do this a lot with my chipboard. That is if I can keep the glitter out of my hands.
Onto the next “good thing”… I finally got to see the Martha Stewart segment with her holding up my layout plugging her contest. So here is my little 5 seconds of fame.

And now the really BIG NEWS…. Danelle Johnson with Art Warehouse asked me to be a part of her design team! I just cannot believe it. I’m so thrilled. I never would have thought in less than one year of deciding to be on a few design teams I would be on 3 fabulous design teams. Yes, my scrapping world is pretty darn good.
This being said I really need to get back to working on my mini album. It must be finished by Friday and I am going to miss some good creating time for two days.
