I thought I would share a little sneak peek to a class I am teaching Jan. 15th – 18th at Split Rock Retreat for Scrappin’ Away Vacations. This Maya Road Townhouse and Mini Album kit is loaded with lots of Maya Road product, vintage items and gorgeous Webster’s Pages.
While there I’m also teaching a Triangle Banner, 6″ Circle and 4″ Binder class. So if you are near the area and want to come and play I would love to meet you and teach you some neat techniques. Registration opens today and Rollie is taking the first 175 people. So sign up now if you want to attend. You do not want to miss out on all the weekends events.

My projects are packed and the last load of laundry is out of the dryer so now all I need to do is pack. I thought before I left I would share one last post showcasing more new Maya Road products. I made this little ornament from a few pages from their new Butterfly Coaster album… notice that adorable embossed cover.
And…. look at this wonderful new product… Maya Road now carries acrylic albums. This one is their new Square Scallop album. It measures 4″ square and has 6 pages. These are great to interchange with their Square Scallop Chipboard Album.

and that cute little chubby cheeked redhead turned into this beautiful teenager.

I wish I could show you photos of my oldest daughter but hmmm, she doesn’t let me take photos of her… I know she reads my blog so maybe I can shame her into a few snapshots when I get back from CHA. Love you Terri.

this is my favorite Maya Road binder. Well I say this now but I’m sure Caroline and Deb will come up with another design I love even more. But for now… this one is my favorite. I love the shape so much. The pages from this album are what I used to create the base for my “Welcome to our nest” wall hanging.

I tell ya Caroline and Deb outdid themselves. Don’t forget to check out Maya Road’s company blog for lots of sneak peeks. There are some fabulous projects from the design team showcasing many of the new release items. Make sure you leave a comment too because you want to have a chance at winning some of this great new stuff.

and so little time. I have so many things I want to show you. The CHA clock is ticking and ticking loudly. I leave Wednesday morning at 7 a.m. Those of you that know me know I am NOT A MORNING person. This is gonna hurt and hurt bad. But the fun thing is I will be going with Caroline, David and little Noah. So it is worth it.

Here is a really fun new product that will be hitting the stores in Aug. This mini album sheet by Maya Road is so cool. It includes the mini album and chipboard embellishments. All you need to add is paper, rubons and any other embellishments you might want. Talk about a wonderful brag book for a new grandparent, thank you gift for a bridal party, etc… the possibilities are limitless.
So here is what I created using this fun new product…

So what do you think? I think this is a neat little product.

Here is an album I created using papers and ribbon from the December kit by Cocoa Daisy. I plan on adding a family photo of some sort which will represent each month for all of 2008. Then this time next year, I will have a beautifully created mini album showcasing our family throughout the year. If you want to create one for your family make sure you sign up for the Cocoa Daisy Newsletter. This months newsletter will have a step by step tutorial showcasing this album.

Gotta get busy creating some things with my Cocoa Daisy Jan. kit. I do believe this just might be my all time favorite. It is gorgeous.
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend.

Here is a mini album I created using Maya Road’s new 2-Ring Layer Book. If you want a quick project this is the book for you. Depending on the amount of detail you want to put into it you can complete this album in a few hours or a day. Some additional Maya Road products used are ribbons, new rub ons and their motifs chipboard set. The pattern paper is the Chicken Little Collection by Piggy Tales.
I have the pleasure of living fairly close to Caroline so at times I get to go over and play with Noah. I took these photos to document just one hour of his day.

Here is a mini album I created using products from Danelle Johnson’s Vibe Collection and Creative Imaginations Bare Elements album. This will be featured on the Art Warehouse Product Spotlight web site. There you can print out the supply list and instructions to recreate this mini album. The photos are of my niece Madelyn catching her first fish. She was so excited. That is until her Dad Kelly asked her if she wanted to touch it (see last photo).

I have to share just a few more projects with you. I finished all the journaling in this binder last night and must say I am pretty happy with this finished project. I have been wanting to document my little treasures for quite awhile and I am glad I waited. This Maya Road suitcase and binder is just what I needed.
Now here is a really fun project to make that is if you like birds! I used one of the pages from the new bird album by Maya Road and altered it using their crown, scroll and velvet ric rac as well as vintage buttons and some Martha Stewart seam binding. I plan on creating more and selling them here on my site. Oh and once I get back from CHA I will be purging my scraproom of some projects. I will have cards and other items that I have created for sale. So be on the look out for this new feature.

Okay off to wash and pack. Hope you all have a great day.
