Class Length: 4 Hours Skill: All Levels

The sentiment “Home Sweet Home” can make you think of many things… special items in your home a spring garden and most importantly those special people and pets. This project documents all of the special things that help make my home a “Home Sweet Home”. My album includes photos of my brother’s trumpet, family members, flowers from our garden, Sonny and Buster our special canine companions and a few family quotes which I have included in each kit.

In this class you will alter a Maya Road Townhouse and Mini Album using a faux mosaic created from 4 beautiful Webster’s Pages patterned papers. Then accent the house and album with lots of Maya Road products such as their Vintage Sequins Edging, Pom Pom Trim, Double Stitched Velvet, Blossoms, Jewel Pins, Buttons and Rubons. I also included Vintage Seam Binding, Bakers Twine and other items from my stash. I will show you how to accent each page of your album using Stickles and hand doodling. Once completed your finished album can be stored neatly inside the house or left out for all to see.

Class Length: 3.5 – 4 Hours    Skill: Intermediate

This “Family” class is full of techniques that can be incorporated into future projects and layouts. You will learn tips on using Crackle Paint, Stickles, Decorative Scissors, Embroidery Floss and Distress Ink. Once you get the hang of these techniques you will want to use them all the time. The techniques are not hard but some are a bit more time consuming than others. Just remind yourself the impact they create on your projects and layouts makes the time spent worth every second. This project is also a two in one. You can either hang your “Family” banner or you can set it on a table as a mini album. How you decide to display it is up to you. Either way, people are going to love looking at it.

“Time Flies” is about my youngest daughter Ansley preparing for high school. You can alter the theme of your album to showcase your family, summer highlights or special moments; it is all up to you. I designed it with many themes in mind. This kit includes a complete alphabet package so there are more then enough letters for you to create your own title. I want this to be an album that incorporates your style and theme so please feel free to change around the paper designs provided. I’m here to give you some helpful hints, tips and ideas. Don’t get me wrong I have included step-by-step instructions along with color photos in each kit, just don’t want you to feel as though you are locked into my design. Let your creativity fly. To me there is nothing better than getting a little creative jump start.

For those who do not care to use glitter or rhinestones, please feel free to opt out as I understand not everyone loves bling. Your finished album will be perfect either way as I created this album with non-blingers in mind. But please keep the supplies provided to possibly try at a later date. You never know… you just might end up liking a little bling here and there.

This unique 4″ binder features “Stories Told by Me.” It includes tiny moments in my childhood that I wanted to share with my daughters. You can alter the theme of your album to showcase moments about your childhood, your family, holiday highlights or other special moments with loved ones; it is all up to you.

I designed this class with many themes in mind. I want this to be an album that incorporates your style and theme so please feel free to change around the paper designs provided. In this class you will use Rubons, Ric Rac, Buttons and other creative embellishments to accent your photos. Each kit includes step-by-step instructions with color photos for those that like to recreate projects exactly as shown.

I just don’t want you creative rebels that like to do your own thing to feel as though you are locked into my design. This is so not the case. Remember, I’m here to light a creative spark with helpful hints, tips and ideas.
