Supplies: Small Matchbox (2″ x 1.5″ x .5″) 2 – Patterned Papers or 1 – Double Sided Seam Binding Flowers Jewelers Tag Tools: Martha Stewart Starburst Punch ColorBox Fluid Chalk Ink (Chestnut Roan) Strong Adhesive Instructions: Cut a strip of Patterned Paper to 2″ x 4.5″, ink edges using Chestnut Roan Fluid Chalk Ink Wrap strip of Patterned Paper around Match Box and adhere using a Strong Adhesive Ink outer edges and the sides of drawer portion of the Match Box using Chestnut Roan Fluid Chalk Ink Using the Starburst Punch, punch out Starburst from Patterned Paper and adhere to center/left top portion of the Match Box Wrap Seam Binding around the Match Box and tie a bow Place a small bunch of Vintage Flowers under bow Tie Jewelers Tag to center of Bow Open Match Box and fill with your worries, dreams and wishes

Supplies Needed: Clear Ornaments Transparency Maya Road Rubons Ribbon Faux Snow Tools Needed: Coluzzle (circle) Instructions: Print wallet sized photos in greyscale onto transparency Cut out photo using your Coluzzle or other form of circle cutter to appropriate size for your ornament Roll up transparency and place inside of ornament (you might need to flatten it out just a bit, I used the eraser on top of a pencil) Add Faux Snow to inside of ornament Using Rubons place a word or date along the front of the ornament Tie a bow to the hanger Enjoy.

Something about Mittens…

Mittens hanging up to dry just makes me smile. Not sure why because I’ve lived in Texas for 37 years and we certainly don’t get the opportunity to hang mittens up to dry very often. So I thought I would make some as a winter accent for the house and grabbed a cup of hot coffee, a pencil and some paper.

I painted the entire box and added white boa, glitter tinsel, pink pom pom trim, bottle brush trees, satin seam binding, a ballerina, snowflakes, rhinestones and iridescent fibers.
