Miniature stand

Apr 29, 2011

Well yesterday was a day of one flight disaster after another so I ended up not being able to attend Ranger U. I am so sad about it but it was out of my hands. I got to the airport, baggage checked in, through security and flight delay #1 came up, then not too longer flight delay #2 came up, not too longer after that flight delay #3 came up and then BAM flight canceled as well as all flights to Newark. I was on the phone, internet and texting trying to figure out a way to get to Newark but it was just not in the cards for me. So here I sit at home waiting for my luggage to return to me and let me just say I’m a true Texas girl...

Creative Weekend at Rocky Mountain Memories

May 1, 2013

Friday afternoon, I taught the Afternoon Tea class, which was loads of fun. Everyone created a mini album and cuff. The one thing I truly love about teaching is even though everyone has the same supplies and products, no two finished projects ever look the same. Each person incorporates their own little flare and style to their pieces. Valentine’s Day Charms

Feb 10, 2013

These little charms are so sweet (I know, excuse the pun but I couldn’t help it) that I can hardly stand their cuteness. They are a perfect accent for any sweet Valentine to wear all month long. When Maya Road released their Vintage Glass Memory Vials I was so excited because they are the perfect miniature size for charms of any kind. You get 10 Vintage Glass Memory Vials, five of each size per package. I’m going to make a few using the sand I brought back from Greece and Italy then metal stamp a charm with Mykonos and Bellagio to attach to each vial as a fun memento. I love funky jewelry and plan on having loads of fun with these. The supplies needed needed to make your charms are a package of...

Simple Stories and Maya Road

Dec 5, 2011

I hope you are ready for a fun blog hop this week. Simple Stories and Maya Road will be featuring lots of awesome projects for the holiday season all week using the Simple Stories 25 Days of Christmas line and loads of Maya Road products. Last night, I created a card that reminds me of a holiday scene from the early 1900’s. A lady and gentleman standing in front of their Christmas tree looking out the window as people pass by their home all decorated for the season or maybe watching snowflakes as they gently fall to the ground. Either way it is a magical evening for them both. The window is attached to the front of the card using foam squares to give it a bit of dimension. I attached the miniature holly...
