Society Lady ~ Card
Today I’m showing you how to create a simple all occasion or notecard using my Antiquated Collection Society Lady stamp set. First using Coffee Archival ink stamp the image of the lady onto cardstock or patterned paper. I used a sheet from the Pink Paislee Cottage Farms line.
Next, cut a piece of patterned paper slightly smaller than the front of the blank notecard. Using a Fiskars scalloped circle punch, punch a scalloped circle into the patterned paper piece in the lower right corner as shown in the photos. Apply Platinum Stickles along the outer edge of the large patterned paper piece as well as along the edge of the punched scallop circle as shown in the photos and let dry.
Trim the area around the stamped image so it is a bit larger than the punched scalloped circle. Position and attach the stamped piece to the lower right front of the notecard so it peeks through the punched scalloped circle.
Wrap seam binding around the large patterned paper piece and secure in place with a bow as shown in the photo above. Place foam squares onto the back of the large patterned paper piece and attach to the front of the blank notecard. Accent the seam binding bow using a vintage button and Maya Road leaf pins and the lower right corner of the card with cream self adhesive pearls.
FYI… Pink Persimmon’s website will be down for a few days. They just redesigned their entire site and are switching things over. If you click on any of the Pink Persimmon links on my site to purchase any of my Antiquated Collection stamp sets and they are not working this is why. Once their site is up and running I will replace the old links with the new ones.
