My last day with Maya Road was Aug. 31st, and I guess now that I’m posting this to my blog it really is official. I’m no longer a part of Maya Road but as I see it, once a Roadie always a Roadie. I’ve worked for Caroline, Deb, and the two Davids since November 2006. It’s been an amazing journey watching Maya Road grow, learning some of the ins and outs of the industry, making wonderful friends and traveling to awesome places sharing the joy I have for creating. But I have dreams and goals I want to achieve, the biggest being a product line I’ve had swirling around in my head for a long time. So now I feel it’s time I put 100% towards achieving my own goals.
I’ve been in contact with a few manufacturers and hope eventually something will work out. I won’t give up as I’ m too determined to see this dream of mine become a reality. I’m just going to keep on plugging along until I’ve done it! I know it all takes time and I’ll practice patience to the best of my ability but if you are or know of a manufacturer looking to add a licensed artist to your company please feel free to contact me, I’d love to chat! My list of ideas is a mile long.
