Kitting and a Contract
I’m so happy to show you this photo… the official contract for book 3 arrived. I’m so super excited about the concept for this book I can hardly stand it. I’m also very fortunate to get to continue working with such loyal sponsors. I have a few new sponsors that I’m really happy to have that will be added to this LIST soon! Thank you all so much for your support and ongoing sponsorship. I really appreciate both tremendously.
This week it’s been all about getting kits ready and shipped to Lake Como, Italy for “A Kiss On The Chic’s Creative Retreat in Italy” Laura’s put together a fabulous event and Sept. 15th cannot get here soon enough.
I’ve never in my life wished I had a Sizzix Vagabond Machine so badly as I did a few days ago… oh my stars was I so happy to finish die cutting chipboard and felt…
And my Fiskars trimmer got just as much of a workout. I tell ya this trimmer is awesome. It cuts chipboard and felt like butter. It is enjoying it’s little break for the moment.
I filled lots of vintage test tube vials with silver glass glitter and accented each one with a beautiful Jenni Bowlin stick pin. These will be topped off with a vintage seam binding bow and portions of a vintage seed packet label in the “Antiquated Curiosities” Shadow Box class, I’ll be teaching in Italy.
Here is a little sneak of my “Antiquated Curiosities” Shadow Box with bags all around it filled with lots of Maya Road and vintage finds I’ve been collecting just for this project.
And here is a bag showing some of the wonderful Maya Road products for my “Neapolitan Rose” Bib Necklace and Cuff Class. I’m really happy with these two classes and Terri (daughter #1) is already waiting for me to return so she can have my samples. Gotta love that girl.
So as you can imagine I’ve really been wishing I had a Mario Rossi oh so BADLY, this week. The energizer bunny has nothing on this guy and never will.
