Chicago Art and A Random Quote
This sticker, which was about 12″ long was attached on a boarded up window in downtown Chicago. It wasn’t far from where I got off the train with Caroline and Emily when we were heading to Navy Pier. This art piece reminds me of the kind of stamp Julie Fei-Fan Balzer would carve. I like the way the artist has “You can feel it in your mind” mixed among all the doodling.
This neat tile piece was discovered as we walked out of a tunnel and up more stairs than I want to remember. I have no idea where this is but it was on our way to Navy Pier. I’m the one that looks like the total tourists when Caroline and I are on an adventure. I just follow along keeping my eyes on her so I NEVER have a clue where I am. I just take photos and look at all the architecture and such around me.
This quote really speaks to me right now, I need to make some changes, look for new possibilities and of course have the courage to do them. Change is scary but I know it is what needs to be done.
I found this awesome quote on the back of a guy’s t-shirt while standing in line to get another flight out of Chicago after ours was cancelled. Margaret Mead was oh so right when she uttered these words.
All three of these inspirational photos were found the very same day just walking around. It really is true, if you keep your eyes open you will find inspiration all around you.
