Featured Artist ~ Julie Fei-Fan Balzer

Mar 27, 2012

Be still my heart… Several months ago I participated in a blog hop for Julie Fei-Fan Balzer the girl behind Balzer Designs and the awesome catchy phrase “I’m a Dirty Girl” . After the blog hop I asked Julie if she would be a “Featured Artist” showcasing my Antiquated Collection stamp line. I was over the moon excited when she said yes. I find her funky art journaling simply amazing. I have no clue how she does what she does… all I know is, is I LOVE IT!

For her “Featured Artist” piece Julie used the Antiquated Collection stamp sets “Society Lady and Stylish and Fashionable”. I think her use of color is awesome and wish I could have watched her create this piece from start to finish. I like the contrast of bold colors with the vintage images a lot and think they make for a really unique combination. And her journal strips observe, capture, collect are a perfect accent to the piece. Using journaling strips on projects is one of my favorite things to do.

If you love Julie’s style as much as I do please make sure you visit her blog HERE and if you love STENCILS.… check out her Stencil line HERE with The Crafter’s Workshop.

Thanks, Julie for creating and sharing such a super cool piece of art.

And a little FYI… I’m always on the lookout for monthly “Featured Artists” using my stamp line. If you would like to be considered please email images of your projects using my stamp line Antiquated Collection to lisa@lisapace.com. Also, feel free to post them on the Antiquated Collection by Lisa M. Pace Facebook page. Lots of inspiration can be found there.

Hugs!
