The Oh So Non-Glamorous Side of CHA

I thought I would share with you some of the pho­tos Car­o­line, David and I took while we were all set­ting up the Maya Road booth for CHA-W. It’s amaz­ing how it takes 2 days to set up and only 5 hours and 20 min­utes to break it all down, re-pack pan­els, shelves, signs and prod­uct as well as repack all the design team projects and get every­thing back in the crates ready to ship back to the ware­house. It’s crazy!!!

 First you start with a few hand­fuls of these and a nice cold Diet Coke

Then we start putting down the floor­ing (Ronda, Laura & Emily)

 After the floor­ing is down we start build­ing the walls (Ronda, Laura & David)

 While putting up the walls we dodge fork­lifts and trees (not kid­ding the proof is in the photo)

 After the walls are up we start emp­ty­ing the crates.
As you can see the tallest one (Laura) gets to crawl in and hand out boxes.

Once the walls are built, next comes all the awe­some Maya Road prod­ucts… and their are LOTS! Chip­board Albums, Trin­kets, Metal, Blos­soms, Rib­bons and Trims, Kraft, Mini Chip­board Sets, Chip­board Sets, Chip­board Coast­ers, Clear Stamps, Glit­ter, Maya Mists, Ink Pads, Can­vas, Wood, Trans­paren­cies, Micro­felts, Acrylic Albums, Key­chains, Stands and Sets, Rubons, Sheer Sets and Albums

and more prod­uct… Laura is work­ing on the rib­bon wall… one year I was given that task and lets just say… I was never given that task again… oh my goodness.

And this is what I call “Orga­nized Chaos” Car­olyn with The Crafty Scrap­per came by with Shelly and Gena to check things out and see how every­thing was going.

Now that I’ve re-cooperated from the show, it’s time to clean my house and do some laun­dry. Where’s my fairy god­mother? I keep wait­ing for her to show up and so far nothing!
