Weekend Classes and Another Sneak Peek

Nov 15, 2011

This past weekend I got to spend lots of creative time with an awesome group of creative woman. I love going down to The Crafty Scrapper to visit, chat, teach and just hang out. It is such a happy place to be. While teaching my classes I took a few photos here and there of how everyone created the same project yet they all looked different.

This is one of the angel ornaments a student was working on. I love how she changed the crystal coarse glitter to an aqua glitter to match her holiday decor.

This student altered her snowflakes and tin using another shade of aqua glitter mixed with the crystal coarse glitter. I really like how the two glitters mixed together look. It really does make me so happy when students take my idea and let their creative ideas flow in class.

And here is one of the wrap bracelets Carolyn actually finished in my jewelry class. There are so many unique jewelry items you can make using Maya Road products.

This is Joan working hard on her “Christmas Wishes” project. I was so happy to see her and everyone else leave with completed projects in all three classes taught, this weekend.

And those of you who have been asking about left over kits… well I have bad news and good news… the bad news is no I do not have any left over kits BUT the good news is I will be turning the Ornament and Christmas Wishes classes into one online workshop. So you will be able to gather your supplies or use what you already have on hand and create your very own altered ornaments and altered tray.

And now it is SNEAK PEEK TIME.… this sneak peek is a portion of one of my favorite stamps in my Antiquated Collection line. This beautiful lady is stamped onto Muslin using Jet Black Archival Ink. Notice how detailed the stamped image is even on FABRIC!!! I’m so so thrilled with this collection I can hardly contain myself. Actually, I don’t think I’m doing a very good job at containing myself. I’m about to make my family nuts. They are counting down the days for my ONLINE CHAT Saturday at 3pm Central, with A Cherry On Top too, but I think for different reasons.

Hugs!

I had a WONDERFUL time in your class on Saturday. These ornaments looked so involved, but I was so happy to have them all complete in 2 hours! Thanks for teaching such a fun class. I hope you’ll be back again soon.
