Last day of Show and Tell

Oct 20, 2011

This “Happy Birthday” tag can be found in the Summer chapter on page 64 of Delight In The Seasons. The technique featured is on page 65. But as you know this part still remains a secret. And just so you know, having to keep all of this a secret is killing me. I cannot wait for this book to hit the shelves.

I used all kinds of fun products and tools when creating this tag.… Punches and Decorative Scissors, Ink and Paint, Stickles and Glitter, Stamping and Distressing and added texture using Seam Binding and Burlap. Machine stitching with a basic straight stitch using cream thread all around the patterned paper pieces and inner edge of the tag adds the perfect finishing touch.

I hope this weeks Show and Tell has given you just a little insight as to what types of projects are featured in my newest book. Delight In The Seasons is filled with Cards, Tags, Layouts, Projects and Mini Albums too. Delight In The Seasons certainly will fill you with inspiring ideas for, “Crafting a Year of Memorable Holidays and Celebrations.” I cannot wait for you to see it for yourself.

Many thanks to the following sponsors Sassafras Lass, Tim Holtz, Jenni Bowlin, Maya Road, Wendy Vecchi Studio 490, Fiskars, ILoveToCreate and Laura’s Vintage Garden because of you, I was able to create a sweet birthday project.

Here are links to all the other book sponsors I was so fortunate to work with, you will see their awesome products all throughout Delight In The Seasons: 3ndypapir.no, Cocoa Daisy, German Corner LLC, Pink Paislee, The Girls’ Paperie, Crafty Secrets Heartwarming Vintage, Little Yellow Bicycle, Ranger, Vintage Street Market and C-Thru Ruler Company Art-C Collection.

Show and Tell Day 3

Today, Darlene comes to help me get all the vintage finds I’ve been collecting for upcoming classes and kits in order, as well as my scraproom and front room. I will finally be able to work in a non-cluttered and no-stress environment and I cannot wait.

Hugs!
