“Christmas Wishes”

Oct 21, 2011

When: November 13th
Where: The Crafty Scrapper
Time: 11:00

In this class you will create a home décor piece and holiday ornament using a fun mixture of new and vintage items. Some of the vintage items being used are mercury glass ornaments, sheet music, images from vintage cards, lace trim, aluminum garland and tinsel. I’ve been collecting vintage items with this class in mind all year long, from flea markets and thrift stores in Frisco, McKinney, Sour Lake, Winnie and Beaumont, as well as all the states from here to Maine. We will collage, paint, ink, glitter and of course Stickle when creating these two festive holiday projects.

Once completed you can place the altered holiday tray on an easel or attach a hanger to the back. This will be left up to you to decide. The ornament can be hung on your tree or placed in a frame to use as a holiday décor piece.

Cost: $65.00          Level: All Levels          Class Time: 3 – 4 Hours

Additional Supplies Needed: Clear Drying Liquid Adhesive, Glue Stick, Fabric-Tac, 1 Package of Foam Squares, Creamy Brown Ink, Diamond & Icicle Stickles (I will have Stickles in class to share but you are going to want these… promise!)

Tools Needed: Paintbrush, Hot Glue Gun, Glue Sticks, Wire Cutters, Scissors, Tweezers, Craft Knife, Craft Mat, Sanding Block

Hope to see you there!

LOVE them both…wish I was a Texas cowgirl!!! If you have any left over (although I doubt it..), I hope you will consider offering them for sale on your blog…I can’t wait for your new book to come out…

  • I agree – this is a wonderful class. I love it when you alter vintage Christmas images. Last year I made one of your Christmas items for my mama and she loved it! Thanks for the inspiration! I must check out your new book, too!

    Hi Lisa,
Please let me know if you have any extra kits left over to purchase. We’ll be out of town that weekend so I can’t get to the class at Crafty Scrapper :-( but this is a beautiful project & I would love to have it!
