Upcoming Jewelry Class

I’m so excited to tell you I will be teach­ing a new class at The Crafty Scrap­per, Sat­ur­day, Octo­ber 15th. The time is still to be deter­mined but I will let you know ASAP. This class is all about hand­made jew­elry. You will learn how to cre­ate two dif­fer­ent bracelet styles. One is the pop­u­lar wrap bracelet using but­tons and waxed linen and the other is cre­ated using Leather Cord and Waxed Linen that is accented with all sorts of inter­est­ing baubles. You will cre­ate two charms, a vin­tage style charm using a wooden spool that you accent with vin­tage ephemera and an adorable Pom Pom charm topped with a seam bind­ing bow. We will then com­plete the class learn­ing how to make a brooch/headband accent using Zip­per trim.

I will bring other bracelets and Zip­per brooches I have cre­ated and give you quick tips and tuto­ri­als on how I cre­ated each one. You will leave this class filled with lots of ideas to cre­ate items for all the girls on your Hol­i­day list.

Sup­plies Needed: Darice Jew­elry Designer Leather Cord 2MM Nat­ural (3yd. per pack­age), Creamy Brown Ink, Fabri-Tac, Strong Liq­uid Clear Dry­ing Adhe­sive, Clover Small Pom Pom Maker Approx. 1 3/8” & 1 5/8” The two Pom Pom mak­ers are sold together, I will have a few in class for every­one to share.
