At This Moment…

Sep 30, 2011

I am having a blast with nearly 80 ladies altering aprons and making embellishments at Artistic Journey. As you can see, I altered my apron using lots of Maya Road products… Maya Mist Hydrangea Blue, Chocolate Organza Primrose Trim, Ecru and Single Ruffle Crochet Trims, Milk and Mocha Tulle Pleat Trims, Red and Golden Yellow Satin Pleat Edging and Antique Button Jewels.

As each person arrives at the event they are given a plain white apron to alter. Then there are tables set up throughout The Crafty Scrapper with Maya Mist, Trims, Chipboard and other products they can use to alter their apron where ever their artistic muse takes them. It’s going to be so fun seeing how different everyone’s apron turns out and I will certainly be sharing photos from this event on my blog, next week.

I will be showing those attending how to create the pretty flower pin below using Maya Road Red Sating Pleat Edging and Grey Tulle Pleat Trims and of course the center has to be accented using an Antique Button Jewel. I can never have enough bling in a project and these buttons are the perfect accent for a flower.

I hope your weekend is as fun as mine!

Hugs!!!
