Here is another lit­tle sneak peek of the project I will be teach­ing at Artis­tic Jour­ney, this week­end. Can you tell I’m get­ting excited for this event? It is a unique heart shaped shadow box filled with lots of Maya Road prod­ucts like Mini Chip­board Pieces, Ink, Glit­ter, Trims, Wooden Embell­ish­ments and cov­ered with the gor­geous Pink Paislee But­ter­fly Gar­den Pat­terned Paper Col­lec­tion. I really love how it turned out and can’t wait to teach all the fun techniques.

And yes­ter­day, I fin­ished three orna­ments for a Vin­tage Hol­i­day Orna­ment Class. I will be teach­ing this class at The Crafty Scrap­per, Novem­ber 12th. This class will be lim­ited to 23 peo­ple so if you want to take the class make sure you sign up as soon as Car­olyn posts it to the Events page of her website.

If you’re attend­ing Artis­tic Jour­ney you will be able to see these in per­son as I will be bring­ing them along to dis­play in the store. The vin­tage items I have been collecting/hoarding all year are lim­ited so don’t miss out. I still can­not believe I found so many of the adorable ceramic angels to use in class. Each angel is num­bered and labeled with a Japan sticker on the bot­tom. There are two dif­fer­ent col­ored angels, one has a pink tint to her dress and the other has a light blue tint to her dress. Both are adorable.

And here is a lit­tle bit of excit­ing news… my 2nd book “Delight In The Sea­sons” is going to pre-press today!!! I’m so excited about this book I can hardly stand the wait. I can­not wait for you all to see it. I just love, love, love it and have awe­some ideas for book #3 which I need to start work­ing on the pro­posal for soon. My goal is to have a “Delight” series of idea books… two down and sev­eral more to go.
