Modern Vintage Never Looked So Vogue

Good Morn­ing Blog­gers!  My name is Lynn Gha­hary and I am rep­re­sent­ing Pink Paislee today!  When Lisa asked us to jump in and par­tic­i­pate on her blog this week we were thrilled to say YES!

As you know Pink Paislee just released a Vin­tage Sewing / Tex­tile inspired col­lec­tion called Vin­tage Vogue dur­ing the Sum­mer CHA Show in Chicago and today we want to show you a fun let­ter tray project that fea­tures this collection.

I snapped these pho­tos of my brother and his wife along with my adorable lit­tle niece Gia this past spring.  As soon as I saw the gor­geous Vin­tage Vogue col­lec­tion by Pink Paislee I just knew this col­lec­tion and these pho­tos would be per­fect together!  I decided to cre­ate an altered photo tray and plan on giv­ing it to my brother and sis­ter in law as a gift for their home.  To cre­ate this altered photo tray I began by cut­ting 6 dif­fer­ent pat­terned papers from the Vin­tage Vogue 6x6 Petite Paper Pack to size (4 x 6).   The smaller pat­terns in the 6x6 paper pack are just per­fect for a project like this one!

Once I had my back­ground papers adhered I sim­ply began fill­ing in each of the sec­tions with pho­tos, embell­ish­ments, and addi­tional papers as needed.

I used Foam Adhe­sive to pop up my pho­tos as well as many of my embell­ish­ments to give my project lots of dimen­sion and detail; and even though the Vin­tage Vogue Chip­board Pops come with adhe­sive I used Adhe­sive Squares to give them extra stay­ing power since this is a project that will be on dis­play and I don’t want any lit­tle pieces to acci­den­tally fall off and get lost.

Projects like these are so fun to cre­ate and can be com­pleted in about an hour with the right prod­ucts!  The Vin­tage Vogue Col­lec­tion includes Ephemera, Chip­board Stick­ers, Petite Papers and fab­u­lous Jumbo But­tons and Brads that allowed me to just sit down and cre­ate with every­thing at my fin­ger­tips!  It coor­di­nates per­fectly with all of these black and white pho­tos and will be a trea­sure for my brother’s family.
