Modern Vintage Never Looked So Vogue
Good Morning Bloggers! My name is Lynn Ghahary and I am representing Pink Paislee today! When Lisa asked us to jump in and participate on her blog this week we were thrilled to say YES!
As you know Pink Paislee just released a Vintage Sewing / Textile inspired collection called Vintage Vogue during the Summer CHA Show in Chicago and today we want to show you a fun letter tray project that features this collection.
I snapped these photos of my brother and his wife along with my adorable little niece Gia this past spring. As soon as I saw the gorgeous Vintage Vogue collection by Pink Paislee I just knew this collection and these photos would be perfect together! I decided to create an altered photo tray and plan on giving it to my brother and sister in law as a gift for their home. To create this altered photo tray I began by cutting 6 different patterned papers from the Vintage Vogue 6×6 Petite Paper Pack to size (4 x 6). The smaller patterns in the 6×6 paper pack are just perfect for a project like this one!
Once I had my background papers adhered I simply began filling in each of the sections with photos, embellishments, and additional papers as needed.
I used Foam Adhesive to pop up my photos as well as many of my embellishments to give my project lots of dimension and detail; and even though the Vintage Vogue Chipboard Pops come with adhesive I used Adhesive Squares to give them extra staying power since this is a project that will be on display and I don’t want any little pieces to accidentally fall off and get lost.
Projects like these are so fun to create and can be completed in about an hour with the right products! The Vintage Vogue Collection includes Ephemera, Chipboard Stickers, Petite Papers and fabulous Jumbo Buttons and Brads that allowed me to just sit down and create with everything at my fingertips! It coordinates perfectly with all of these black and white photos and will be a treasure for my brother’s family.
