Sight Seeing and Jenni Bowlin

Jul 25, 2011

The day before CHA opened Ronda, Christine and I walked the Magnificent Mile and came upon a gorgeous church. The First Presbyterian Church building was dedicated on May 10, 1914 and every single square inch of this church is stunning. We could have stayed there all day taking photos. The garden was so peaceful with not one bit of color but green. Just incredible. I love that the plaque near the church entrance says, “This church is open daily for rest, prayer and relaxation.”  Just a little warning… this blog post is heavy on photos.

I was not kidding when I said we could have stayed there all day long. So now onto CHA. The day it opened I could not wait to see what my book sponsors where debuting. Well Jenni Bowlin certainly did not disappoint. You will certainly be seeing her Christmas and Halloween lines in online workshops for sure. They are adorable!

First up is her new Halloween line.

And now for the Vintage Christmas line. I will be hoarding this like crazy. Having a dad that is Santa makes one hoard all vintage Christmas anything and everything.

And I have so many ideas for her new vintage cigar box replica. This thing is so stinkin cute and has so many incredible possibilities.

Jenni also released three new paint and ink colors… Lavender Sachet, Weather Vane and Speckled Egg.

I’m really looking forward to designing some fun projects with all of Jenni’s new products. They are awesome!

Hugs!

Thanks Lisa for sharing ! I just love vintage ANYTHING but most of all Christmas. Is it a sign of the times that so many of us feel “a warm cozy” being around and creating with things from long ago??????????? Can’t wait to see your new book.
