CHA Day 2
It was another fun day at CHA. This afternoon I helped Caroline teach her 6 Ways To Use Maya Road Workshop. It was a wonderful class and most everyone finished their project. Then I walked the floor with Ronda looking at all the wonderful new products which will be hitting stores soon. Christine on the other hand was stuck in her hotel room sorting through all kinds of projects for the Cocoa Daisy Kits. All I can say is they are going to be AWESOME!.
Today, I have to share a few photos and tell you about all the fun we had in the Crafters Workshop booth.
After looking at all of Julie Balzer’s new stencils Ronda and I played with Julie and a great group of friends. We all know I’m not a get messy kinda girl but today I got messy. Playing with stencils, Distress Inks, Colorwashes, Golden Modeling Texture Paste, Luminart Paint and Paint Dabbers and I’m sure a few other messy products, as her table was covered with so many wonderfully fun inks and paints.
Proof I have had at one time in my artsy career messy fingers. I used Julie’s Damask and Chickenwire stencils to create my tag.
My completed tag above (photo taken by Ronda, thanks Ronda) Lol… I must confess Ronda made two tags by the time I finished my one.
Here is a photo of the great group I ended up sitting with… in this photo you’ll find me, Ronda, Julie (acting crazy as usual), Paula, Emily and poor Suzy is to Emily’s left just out of the photo. We were passing stencils, and all the inks and paints etc. back and forth like crazed artists. It was a great time with lots of laughs.
And we were all thrilled Julie’s dress won “Fan Favorite”. Her dress is amazing! Congrats, Julie! You earned this awesome win. I hope our paths cross again soon. It was wonderful getting to know you and meet your wonderful mom. Remember, do your “Homework”.
And todays book winner for Day 2 went to Laura with Glitz Design. I was super excited about this as their new lines scream vintage, vintage, vintage! I head home tomorrow night, so I’m going to try and cram as much in tomorrow as possible. I’ll share when I get home. Oh and I have been collecting items for my RAK. It’s been fun. I hope you participate.
