Did a little Thrifting yesterday…

Mar 24, 2011

I love to shop at Frisco Resale because not only do you find awesome things but the money goes back into our community to help those in need. It’s a win, win situation. As you can see in the photo it was a good finds kinda day.

Photobucket

I found a nice silverplated tray and plan on doing this with it. I’m on the lookout for another one as I really like how the two look together. This will be a pretty way to keep reminders and other things out in front of me. And I plan on using vintage button magnets my dad made me to attach those reminders too. They’ll work perfectly.

The book I found is going to be torn and turned into this bird and paper flower wreath someday after my last book deadline in May. If you click on the images you will find the step by step tutorials from two very talented ladies.

I plan on using these adorable cherries in a fun summer project to teach at The Crafty Scrapper. I can see these with some cute gingham paper, Maya Road Point Blossoms and aqua accents.

The baking pan is going to hold cute vintage molds I have similar to these. Each one will be filled with supplies I use in all my projects. It will be perfect to place on my workstation then once finished I can easily put it back on a shelf or in a drawer. If you love vintage items you need to click on the photo and check out the Etsy store “vintage by ethanollie”… oh, oh, oh she has wonderful items.

This cute silicone ice cube tray is going to be filled with you know it “UTEE” then I’ll decorate each one into a cute piece of pumpkin art. I was so excited to find this… really.

The purple binder underneath the book is a never been used brand spankin new Franklin Covey organizer that I’ll be filling in like a mad woman. My days are filling up quickly with deadlines and obligations. I hope it helps ease the mental stress just a tad. We will see.

So there you have it my thrift store finds for the day and all of this was under $20.00. I love thrift stores!
