Pink Carnations

This tag uses all four of the new Per­fect Pearl col­ors from Ranger’s new Con­fec­tions Set. I really like Pink Gum­ball as I think it is the per­fect shade of pink for tint­ing flow­ers. And Wendy’s but­ter­fly stamp is the per­fect accent to go over sheet music. I love how you can make Per­fect Pearls show in a sub­tle way by dry brush­ing them on (but­ter­fly image) or mix­ing them with water or Per­fect Pearl Mists on your non-stick craft sheet and apply­ing them with a paint brush like water­col­ors (pink car­na­tions). I had lots of fun with this tag. As you know or have fig­ured out by now I love mak­ing paper flow­ers and when you add Per­fect Pearls and Stick­les to that list I am hav­ing loads of fun.

I’m off to work on book projects and watch the snow fall. It is great cre­at­ing and look­ing out the win­dow at all the snowflakes. It really inspires me and at this moment I need LOTS of inspi­ra­tion. But just 15 more book projects to go and I will be all set for my next dead­line in mid-March.

    I just love that gor­geous vin­tage tag. How ever did you make those lit­tle flow­ers? Looks as if they may be as much fun as the snowflake you showed us a while back. I made a whole bliz­zard of those!!!!!!!
