CHA Day 3

Feb 1, 2011

What a great day today was. Thank you to all my sweet friends who came by the booth to wish me a happy birthday. It was so sweet of all of you. Those of you that decided to sing happy birthday to me I thank you too even though I wanted to run and hide. It was funny and I must admit so sweet. Carolyn and Keri made me a birthday card out of one of the catalogs they got at the show. I will have to take a photo of it tomorrow so you can see… it is too cute!  Caroline and David took all the Roadies out to eat and surprised me with a wonderful brownie and singing waiter after dinner. Yes I was beet red, wanting to hide but was touched with their thoughtfulness. So Mr. Grumpy Pants has redeemed himself and I guess I have to say, “I’m sorry for calling you Mr. Grumpy Pants the other day.”

Now on to another super cute product Maya Road just released… their Portrait Chipboard Mini Set and Portrait Stamp Set are super cute and remind me of the charms on my grandmother’s charm bracelet. The design team really created some awesome projects using them. Lia glittered her mini chipboard pieces and Katie flocked the stamped images and mini chipboard pieces. Below are a few photos of their projects.

Here are the Mini Chipboard Portrait and Stamp Sets.

Lia glittered her mini chipboard portrait pieces using fine black glitter. I love how this looks a lot.

Here Katie flocked her mini chipboard portrait piece. This look reminds me of the old greeting cards you can find with velvet images on the front. Such a neat look and you cannot help but touch it when you walk by.

On this mini chipboard portrait piece Shelley inked her portrait piece then covered it with clear embossing powder. This is another super neat way to alter this new mini chipboard set.

This is one of the portrait stamps Katie used on a project. Look at how crisp the portrait image and scallop frame are. You are going to be super happy with your stamped images.

Here Katie created this adorable album cover  using the portrait stamp set. I think it is so cute how she put each family member in the window. This album is all about her home decor and what inspires her. Super cute!

In this photo Laura used the portrait stamp set to stamp onto the new canvas ATC mini album. I love seeing all the unique ways you can create with this mini portrait chipboard and stamp set. I hope you have found some inspiration with how the design team members have created with these stamps. I now I certainly have.

Tomorrow, the show closes at 2 BUT opens an hour earlier making that 9:00… really, who decided this? I’m so not happy with them. I will be in the Maya Road booth doing a luggage make-n-take. So if you’re still at the show come by and make one. It’ll be fun. Ok, I am off to bed. I am so tuckered out this evening.
