Where do I even start… this 4.25″ x 8.5″ tag is FILLED with loads of inspi­ra­tion! The dress form, but­ton and spool are part of Tim’s new Sizzix Alter­ations ~Sewing Room Bigz Die. Those of you who know me know I am FAR from being a “cou­ture” girl but for some rea­son see­ing the dress form and other items made me think cou­ture and I thought this theme would be a fun twist. And since Tim released the hanger clips it was only too per­fect… “art­ful cou­ture” was it’s destiny.

I like how the book page flower boa adds just a tad bit more dimen­sion to the tag… noth­ing cuter than flow­ers made of book pages. Then accent­ing the spool with one of his pearl baubles fin­ished that sim­ple cutie off per­fectly. Adding glossy accents to the inked areas of the dress form made this piece pop even more. It’s amaz­ing how a sub­tle detail can really impact a project. I should have taken a before and after shot so you could see. I think the glossy accents popped the dress form up another notch. The tis­sue tape cov­er­ing the dress form is inked and sprin­kled with crys­tal coarse glit­ter. You knew I had to add that some­place… right? Then I accented around the edges with Plat­inum Stick­les. I believe I am going to frame this tag and hang it in my scrap­room… I really love all the ele­ments and design if I don’t say so myself.
