Talk about fly on by…

Jan 12, 2011

I cannot believe it has been so long since my last blog post. Yikes, but I have been super busy with projects, projects, projects. Being super creative for my book and CHA has been challenging but I’m not complaining. I have been super lucky to get my hands on some new product from three manufacturers. I do believe you will want it all too. Not sure when I can start sharing but I will as soon as I get the go ahead. Super fun stuff to play with that is for sure. Which as I’m sure you have figured out explains my lack of blog posting.

I made this to wear at CHA. Just a little something that will be fun to wear. It showcases the Maya Road Resin Blossoms. And my Collage Pauge Instant Decoupage bottle was the perfect size to allow it to dry properly.

I have also been playing around with UTEE. Check out these cute little flower centers I created. Oh yes I will be making LOTS more of these… I love them!

AND this week Frisco, Texas got SNOW!!! Yes, I was doing the happy dance as I love snow and we still have it on the ground too. It was so fun to look out my window while creating and watch the flakes fall. At times they were so big they looked like big white feathers and reminded me of a huge feather pillow fight going on.

Chief was not too sure about all this white stuff. He is such a big chicken but it did not take him long before he was off and running around like a crazy puppy. Yes that big boy is still a puppy. We have no clue how big he is going to get so when people as we just say BIG!

This sweet little bird sat outside my window just looking in at me. It was so cute.

And I am so excited about this… I JUST got an email from my editor and my book now has a NAME… as soon as I can share this with you I will… SO HAPPY and EXCITED!

I love your button centers from UTEE! You have to tell us how you did it. Did you use the 2 part molding compound to take an impression first? Tell all.

Looking forward to your next book.…I am a walking ad for your first one! Will you be teaching in the Metroplex anytime soon? (I live here, too.)

This is the first CHA I will not be attending in almost 10 years! I just retired from my Sales Rep position. I will miss seeing all of the cool projects and new goodies. But looking forward to having time to “play!” I made some ‘Fairy’ shoes last night for my 7 year old granddaughter using the “Once Upon a Springtime” collection by Graphic 45 (one of my now ex-vendors). I did take some pix as I went, so I will post on my brand new (and barely there) blog next week (Cha Cha Chicks.blogspot.com).

Love your stuff…keep up the amazing work!
