What a busy week…

Nov 24, 2010

I hope you all are getting ready to enjoy a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday with friends and family. We will be having a very slow paced day tomorrow. This year we are staying put as we decided to do our traveling to see family for Christmas. I must admit it will be nice to just relax and not worry about entertaining or traveling. This Thanksgiving I am getting off so easy… all Ansley requested is “Stove Top” stuffing and a pumpkin pie!!! Can you believe that… Ansley is not a big turkey eater and Alan doesn’t want me to go to all the trouble of cooking for just us three. So they got major brownie points with me this Thanksgiving. I’m thinking a big pot of stew or chili will be great to eat while we watch the Cowboys game.

I will be the Guest Designer for a kit club next month so I need to get crackin on my projects. Some lucky person will win a kit from this kit club so stayed tuned as you will not want to miss out on this opportunity. This kit is certainly me… very vintage, gorgeous paper lines and yes, even some glitter.

I’ve been working on my “All Things Winter” workshop and I am so excited to share with you tutorials on how to recreate some of the projects in my book “Delight In The Details”. The first project will be posted December 1st. My book is back in stock if you would like an autographed copy. Here is a really nice review of my book by Substance Style Soul… leave a comment for a chance to win one of the books listed in their post.

And I’ve also been working on posting a few new holiday tutorials in my “Tips, Techniques & Tutorials” workshop. Those of you registered will find a gift card holder (it is a purse type holder) with template and a Christmas Countdown with PDF’s. So make sure you check out the workshop as these projects are perfect to work on this long holiday weekend.

Wishing you all a wonderful Thanksgiving.
