No Stress Just Work…

Oct 24, 2010

This will be my new motto told to me by a sweet friend for the next six months as I will begin working on my SECOND book tomorrow. I am so happy I have been given the chance to work with F & W Media once again. My new book will be technique based just as “Delight In The Details” but it will have step outs on how to recreate not only the techniques but ALSO some of the projects. So excited about this new twist. My first deadline is November 26th so i will be somewhat of a hermit over the next month as these projects will be for the cover and I want them over the top wonderful. Not sure if I can tell you the theme of the book just yet but you will LOVE IT I just know it. A lot of thought has gone into this concept and I think it will be ever so popular. The book will debut at CHA-W 2012. That might seem like a long time to you but believe me the time will fly quickly for me. My final deadline is in April so I have until then to get everything completed.

Yesterday I was busy sending out email to potential sponsors and I am happy to say… so far I have Maya Road (certainly no surprise there you all know I am a Roadie at heart), Wendy Vecchi Art Parts (so excited about this one), Jenni Bowlin (once again… YAY), The Girls’ Paperie (super excited about this new sponsor), Pink Paislee (Yay once again) and Crafty Secrets (super excited about this new sponsor too).

The little “No stress just work” sign is sitting right in front of my workstation and will remain there until I have completed the book. I used a scrap piece of paper from kitting my card class “You’ve Got Mail” and just trimmed the top and bottom using scallop scissors.  And speaking of my card class… “You’ve Got Mail” is filling up fast so if you are in the DFW area and want to play on the 6th of Nov. at 10:30 come take the class. The Crafty Scrapper is a wonderful place to spend a Saturday… well any day for that matter.
