Boobie Canvas…

Oct 5, 2010

I bet that title got your attention. Remember the canvas I did and said it was for a great cause… well below is all the info on how you can try to win mine or any of the other talented artists who participated in Cheryl Darrow’s canvas raffle. It would be awesome if she could send a great big fat check to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.

You can remove the Jenni Bowlin vintage image inside the canvas niche. I think it would be awesome to place your own family photograph inside. The ledger paper used on my canvas is from 1933, the book page flowers are from an old American Literature book and the vintage shell buttons are from a collection a man had been collecting for YEARS. He had over 3,000.000 buttons! This canvas is altered with all my favorite things.

To see the video Cheryl and Megan created telling about their canvas raffle click here.

To purchase tickets click here.

You can check out their blog to see photos of each of the canvas pieces by clicking here.

Good luck, I hope you win!

Gorgeous canvas, Lisa! My favorite color combo — vintage whites, creams, linens, punched up with a little black. Adore it!

Lisa, thank you so much for being part of this project. I hope we raise a looooot of money for the cause and because of your participation I bet we will.

    LISA — SHUT THE DOOR!!!
I just got back from San Angelo after getting our son married off yesterday and waiting for me was a heavy box from Ten Seconds Studio.
I could not for the life of me figure out what it would be.
It was so heavy and I knew I hadn’t ordered anything from anyone.….you cannot imagine my surprise when I opened the box and saw the amazing canvas piece for the fundraiser for the Susan B. Koman foundation that you had donated.
I had entered the “raffle” only to win your canvas — I didn’t want anyone else’s piece of art though they were all amazing.
    I wanted yours.
    Because I love your book.
    Because you’re from Texas.
    And, because I loved it!!!

    I won.
    Who would’a guessed.
    I am simply thrilled.
    Simply grinnin’ ear to ear!
