What a fun weekend…

Jun 14, 2010

This past weekend was filled with loads of fun at The Crafty Scrapper. I taught three sold out classes, 2 – Diamonds Are A Girls Best Friend and 1 – Tuscany and Roses. I actually remembered to bring my camera AND take some photos. Although I must admit I forgot to take photos of the first class. I get so wrapped up in teaching and laughing that my camera is the last thing i think about BUT I put the camera in my apron for the 2nd and 3rd class and made myself remember. So here are a few photos of all the fun being had.

This is Friday nights Tuscany and Roses Class

And here are photos from Saturdays Diamonds Are A Girls Best Friend Class.

AND… since so many were not able to get into the Tuscany and Roses class since it sold out I will be teaching it again THIS Friday the 18th at 1:00. If you want to take this class please call Carolyn at The Crafty Scrapper 972.923.3151 ASAP as the class is already half filled. The class fee is $35 and once all 23 spots are filled this class will be retired and not taught again in the area as I teach exclusively at The Craft Scrapper.

In my Tuscany and Roses technique class you will alter two pages from a Maya Road Dress Form album. I will teach you how to reproduce a faux Italian Stucco texture that is perfect to apply to lots of different projects such as album covers, tags and chipboard embellishments. You will also learn how to recreate beautiful roses using Grungepaper, Paint, Distress Stickles and Glitter. This class is all about paint and ink so make sure you bring an apron or wear something you will not mind getting dirty.

Class Length: 4 Hours  Skill: All Levels

Additional Supplies Needed: (Not Included in Kit)
ColorBox Fluid Chalk Ink: Creamy Brown, Chestnut Roan
1 Package Cream Self Adhesive Pearls 5mm
Distress Stickles: Scattered Straw, Worn Lipstick

Thanks everyone for a wonderful weekend! You all are such a wonderful group of ladies. Now I am off to start kitting and printing instructions for Fridays class.
