Vintage Ledger Paper and other stuff

March10

Here is a sweet purchase I made at Crop-Paper-Scissors after I finished teaching my classes this past weekend. As you all know I love vintage ledger paper (they have more… just saying) and use it in all kinds of different ways… covering chipboard and tags, mixing it with vintage sheet music and book pages to create unique paper flowers, using it in my die cutter and one thing I REALLY LOVE doing is saving the blank margins to type journaling strips for projects. This keeps the vintage feel and theme of the project authentic. So don’t throw away any of your scraps, not even the tiniest of tiny ones. You will use them. And this little receipt book is going to make some adorable embellishments in projects. I feel so lucky to have found it as it is nearly a full book.

Also I will be teaching my Canvas Sampler Album at The Crafty Scrapper in Waxahachie, Texas, Saturday, April 24th at 2:00. I will only be able to teach 11 people in this class due to limitations on the vintage items used in the project. After this class this project will be retired. So if you want to make one call Carolyn or Sherri at 972.923.3151 and they will get you signed up.

I also want to thank all of you for emailing me some of the sweetest sentiments ever regarding Ansley and her panic disorder. We are slowly seeing an improvement and know she will get through this, it just takes time. You are all very much appreciated.

And lastly the Easter Ornament Kits are selling fast. To those of you that ordered one… I will be shipping them out Friday.

My daughter has had some problems also. I’m not sure if they are the same, but my daughter has found so much comfort in the daily inspirations from The Brave Girls Club. It is so positive and uplifting. It has helped me to. Just thought I share. Go to the site and sign up for the daily e-mails, it is worth it. http://www.bravegirlsclub.com
