Crepe Paper Ornament

Here is a simple ornament/tag you can create for your home or attach to or give as a gift. The instructions are pretty simple. All you need to do is cover the front of a 4″ Maya Road circle coaster album page with an old book page (poke a hole for your hanger using the back as your guide), paint the back and edges of the 4″ Maya Road circle coaster album page and Maya Road Jonathan Alphas using black acrylic paint. Next cover the letters in black glitter. Create three crepe paper rosettes out of Black, Orange and White crepe paper streamers. Accent the edges of the crepe paper rosettes using Golden Rod Stickles. Now using a liquid adhesive begin attaching and stacking your crepe paper rosettes onto the front of the 4″ circle coaster. Finish accenting the ornament by attaching the glittered letters.

To create your hanger cut a 12″ piece of black seam binding, double knot the ends together and thread through the hole at the top of the circle. If you like this ornament there are similar ones in my All Hallow’s Eve online workshop that you might be interested in creating.

Measurements: Black Crepe Paper Rosette 3.5″ in diameter, Orange Crepe Paper Rosette 3″ in diameter, White Crepe Paper Rosette 2.5″ in diameter

Materials Used: Maya Road: Circle Coaster, Jonathan Alphabet, Crepe Paper Streamer (Black, Orange, White), Making Memories: Asphalt Acrylic Paint, Asphalt Scrapbook Shimmer, Golden Rod Stickles, Black Seam Binding, Book Page
