So much going on…

Sep 5, 2009

Lots of creating and preparing going on in my scraproom. I tell ya it looks like a bomb went off I have so many piles here and there but it is a good thing as it seems to be the only way and best way I know how to create.

Here is a little run down of my creative week… I finished the second project for my “Homespun Inspiration” workshop. Those that have registered now have access to the supply list. The project tutorial will be posted on the 15th.

Homespun Inspiration Project #2 Sneak Peek

Just about have my “All Hallow’s Eve” workshop ready to go. All the photos have been taken and the tutorials have been written and scheduled. Just tweaking a few things here and there.

All Hallow's Eve Sneak Peek

And this is exciting, I will be teaching at Crop-Paper-Scissors in Waco on Saturday, October 10th. I am presently putting together two classes. One will be a holiday banner using a Maya Road Scallop Triangle Banner and Webster’s Pages patterned paper and the second class is one I have had in mind for a long time. It is my “Vintage Sampler” class.

The “Vintage Sampler” class will be limited to 24 people and is a one of a kind class as I am using lots of vintage items that I have been purchasing and saving. I cannot wait to teach it as it has four really unique projects. In this class you will create a miniature house from a pattern I created that resembles the old Putz houses of long ago, a miniature wand accented with a vintage milk bottle cap and german glass glitter, a miniature basket created from an old aluminum jello mold and accented with miniature vintage flocked flowers and then a pennant created from a page from a Maya Road Scallop Triangle Banner, a vintage bingo card and other embellishments. I will post sneak peeks once I have everything completed.

And one more thing… you will want to check out Jenni Bowlin’s Design Team Blog on the 15th (actually you need to check it out everyday as it is full of inspiration) I will be the Guest Designer that day and have a super cute tutorial to share. I think you will really want to make this cutie.

Below is the list of supplies used if you believe in me that much and want to purchase the supplies ahead of time with the project sight unseen. I really think you are going to want to make it.
