Quick Card for Dad…

Love you Dad!

This card is sim­ple to make (once again using my Cocoa Daisy June Kit Scraps, Card­stock, Rub On and Alpha Stickers)

  1. Cut a piece of card­stock to 5.5″ x 8″, fold it in half and ink the edges using Col­or­Box Fluid Chalk Ink (Creamy Brown)
  2. Cut a piece of pat­terned paper to 3.75″ x 5.25″, stitch a straight stitch around the inner edge of the pat­terned paper using a sewing machine, ink the edges using Creamy Brown Ink
  3. Cut another piece of pat­terned paper to 1.75″ x 5.25″, trim the edges using scal­lop scis­sors then poke a hole in the cen­ter of each scal­lop using a paper piercer, ink edges using Creamy Brown Ink
  4. Cut a piece of card­stock (same color as card) to 1 1/8″ x 5.25″, ink edges using Creamy Brown Ink, adhere to cen­ter of scal­loped pat­terned paper, using a sewing machine sew a zig zag stitch where the two papers meet on each side, attach to the cen­ter of the 3.75″ x 5.25″ piece of pat­terned paper
  5. Apply rub on to light col­ored solid card­stock, cut out, ink edges using Creamy Brown Ink, attach two self adhe­sive pearls add “Dad” using Alpha Stickers
  6. Place foam squares on the back of the rub on embell­ish­ment adhere to the cen­ter of the card­stock strip
  7. Adhere 3.75″ x 5.25″ piece of pat­terned paper with rub on embell­ish­ment to front of card­stock card
