We are cel­e­brat­ing a big birth­day today. Terri turns 21 years old.

I first saw this altered cup­cake box on Ranjini’s blog many many months ago. She found the cup­cake box at Tues­day Morn­ing. I imme­di­ately ran to ours to see if they had some and I got lucky. They had two left which I imme­di­ately grabbed as I knew I would be using them as money hold­ers for Terri’s 21st and Ansley’s Sweet 16 next year. The box is quite plain but has such poten­tial for alter­ing. The can­dle is held on by a mag­net although I attached mine to the top per­ma­nently. Below is what it looks like before a lit­tle vin­tage sheet music, book page flow­ers, pearls, lace and glit­ter have been added.
