Fun little game…

So I just fin­ished my 90th project for my book. This means I only have 10 more projects left to fin­ish. I thought it would be fun to give a Maya Road RAK to the per­son that comes clos­est to the date (with­out going over) of when I will com­plete my 100th book project. All you have to do is leave a com­ment with the date and the per­son clos­est will win the RAK.… if two peo­ple guess the same date Ans­ley will pick the lucky win­ner. Oh just so you know my final dead­line is May 5th. So don’t guess after this date.

We are to the half way point in my Hip­pity Hop Easter Work­shop. The last day for this work­shop is April 18th. If you want to join in and cre­ate some Easter dec­o­ra­tions and cards there is still plenty of time to com­plete these projects.

Easter Inspiration

I’m not sure about you all but I find inspi­ra­tion in some of the strangest places like this statue located at the vis­i­tors cen­ter in Mem­phis. I took this photo while on a road trip to West Vir­ginia with my Mom and Dad this past sum­mer. It makes me want to cre­ate an Easter dec­o­ra­tion for my front door. I can see a really cute faux mosaic on a wooden egg shaped piece with a ban­ner style Easter greet­ing going across the cen­ter. If this inspires you enough to cre­ate an Easter decor item please email me your fin­ished project. I would love to see what you make.

    Lisa … first of all, I can­not WAIT to see your book. It’s going to be absolutely breath­tak­ing, judg­ing by all of your other work that I’ve seen. Com­ple­tion date … well, you bet­ter get a-move on, Girlie! Before you know it, that final dead­line of May 5 is just around the cor­ner — only 32 days from now. My guess is going to be May 3. I know you can do it; I’ll be root­ing for you. Then, when you’re fin­ished, maybe you’ll give me a holler and we’ll go explor­ing Michael’s in Hurst … remem­ber talk­ing about it? Me? Easter dec­o­ra­tions? Hmm­m­m­mmm, think not — but that mosiac egg sure is a beauty!

    I’m wishin’ you the best of luck with your book and deadline…ok, I’m guessing…April 19th as your fin­ish­ing day for your last 10 but you will prob­a­bly be tweek­ing things a bit until May 3rd…then you can breath and have some choco­late and a cup of tea.…?????
    Am I on the list to buy one of the first signed copies????

    I think you will fin­ish your book projects on May 1st with a cou­ple days to spare. The mosaic egg is pretty fun. Its neat to see what one can find when trav­el­ing around the country.

    I was going to say May 4th-that’s my old­est birth­day, but I agree with every­one who said you want time to check every­thing over to make sure it’s up to par. But-my final deci­sion is May 4th! Can’t wait to see the book.
