What a fun weekend…

October13

This weekend I stayed in Waxahachie with some of the Maya Road girls… Caroline, Jessica, Aubrey and Wendy. I gotta tell you, Wendy taught some of the most inspiring classes all day Saturday and all day Sunday at the Crafty Scrapper. If you ever see that Wendy Vecchi is coming to a store near you I say run and sign up as fast as you can. You do NOT want to miss any of her classes. Wendy is the first person I have ever taken a class from and I want more. She taught me so many great techniques that I plan on carrying over into future projects.

Thanks Wendy for all the inspiration.

This little album is one I created in Wendy’s Fragments class. Wendy has you bring scraps of paper, rubons and trinkets like buttons and rhinestones then instructs you all along the way. At the end of each class she has show and tell which is so much fun seeing how different all the albums end up. I plan on using mine as our family Christmas journal this year.

My next post will be of the adorable “Make it Merry” class project. In this class we got to play with all of Wendy’s new stamps and even heard about her new theme that will be released at CHA-W. Her stamps are incredible in size and quality. I loved getting to play with every single one of them.

Lisa I had SO much fun with you this weekend. I cannot wait for you to come spend the weekend again, I have a guest room with your name on it. I LOVE how your book turned out, I couldn’t wait to see what else you would add after getting home.
