What a great day…

Yes­ter­day my friend Lisa and I went to the GASC in Arling­ton. We had such a great time walk­ing the floor and look­ing at all the cool stuff. The Crafty Scrap­per had a won­der­ful booth with LOADS of prod­uct and LOTS of Maya Road. It was fun get­ting to see and chat with all of them again.

I got to quickly chat with a few of the Mem­ory Mak­ers Mag­a­zine staff… Beth Williams their exec­u­tive edi­tor, Chris­tine Doyle their edi­to­r­ial direc­tor and Gina­Marie Reda their assis­tant edi­tor. It is so sad to think my term is almost up with Mem­ory Mak­ers. This has been one super fast and enjoy­able year. But they will not be get­ting rid of me that eas­ily. I’m still gonna chat with them and visit them as often as I can via email and when attend­ing CHA-S and CHA-W. I feel for all of you that are work­ing on your entries. I under­stand the but­ter­flies in the stom­ach all too well. Good Luck!

After the show Lisa and I went to eat at “Abuelo’s”. We had the best Tilapia Ver­acruz lunch. I can­not tell you how great it was… It was the kinda so great you can­not stop think­ing about it so great!

Next we were off to dig around in some thrift and antique stores. I found some great trea­sures that I can­not wait to work into some of my book lay­outs and projects. My favorite is the vin­tage hat band. I just love the col­ors of the vel­vet, flow­ers and beads.

These glass but­tons are so much pret­tier in per­son. I’m gonna hold onto these for a while as I have a very spe­cial project for these in mind.

Lastly… I love these milk bot­tle caps. I’m not sure what I am going to do with these but I’m sure some­thing fun will come to mind.

Today I will be head­ing to Caroline’s to sort out some new CHA-S release sam­ples for the design team. I sure wish I could share but… nope, sorry… not quite yet. All I can say is you are gonna LOVE everything.
